Five-year anniversary of Bovanenkovskoye field

On October 23, 2012, #gazprom Dobycha Nadym started the commercial operation of gas production facility No. 2 at the Bovanenkovskoye field.

Gas production facility No. 1 was brought online in 2014 and new wells and a booster compressor station came onstream in early 2017.

Over the five-year period of operation, Bovanenkovskoye has produced some 270 billion cubic meters of the blue fuel. If necessary, the daily #gas output of the field may be increased to 264 million cubic meters.

Bovanenkovskoye is the largest oil, #gas and condensate field in the Yamal Peninsula. The field’s commissioning was preceded by a massive construction, with utility facilities, industrial infrastructure and transportation hubs built. Bovanenkovo now has a full-fledged airport and a railroad leading to the field.

Sergey Menshikov, Director General of Gazprom Dobycha Nadym, congratulated the company’s team on the milestone anniversary. He thanked the staff for the fruitful work and noted that due to the Bovanenkovskoye field #gazprom Dobycha Nadym had achieved the aggregate rates of annual gas production never shown before by the company in its entire history.
