S-FR and Setsuna concept cars shine at Le Rendez-Vous Toyota Innovation exhibition

Comunicato Stampa disponibile solo in lingua originale.

  • The small #toyota S-FR sports coupé was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in October 2015
  • Setsuna was awarded the Grand Prix for Creativity at the Festival Automobile International earlier this year
  • Both concepts cars on display in France for the first time, until end of June

After recently winning the Grand Prix for Creativity at the Festival Automobile International, the Setsuna is being shown for the first time at Le Rendez-Vous #toyota, in Paris, on the Champs-Élysées. Unveiled in April 2016 at the Milan Design Week, this design study is made almost entirely of wood. Together with the S-FR concept car, it shares the headline of the “INNOVATION” exhibition which runs until end June.

The vivid yellow bodywork of the S-FR sports concept car (Front engine/Rear drive) is a real showstopper as you enter Le Rendez-Vous #toyota. Revealed at the Tokyo Motor Show in October 2015, it continues the legacy of small affordable Toyota-made sports coupés that are simple, agile and great fun to drive. This is the first time the S-FR #toyota is being shown in Europe.

Setsuna and S-FR are both in the spotlight at the Le Rendez-Vous #toyota ground floor, alongside the new #priusplugin Hybrid, the compact electric i-ROAD and COMS, an Auris Touring Sports cutbody that demonstrates the hybrid powertrain and the #toyota Mirai;; the revolutionary fuel cell vehicle which achieves a driving range of over 500 km while only emitting water.

The second floor is dedicated to the Yaris “Made in France” display. Presented at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, two new 2017 Yaris, in top-of-the-range Chic and Collection grades, are shown alongside models from the first three generations. The area also showcases #toyota Motor Manufacturing France (TMMF), Yaris’ Valenciennes-based production site with photos and films, as well as the impressive Yaris WRC which marks Toyota's successful return to the World Rally Championship (WRC) with a second place in Monte Carlo and a victory in Sweden.

Located in Paris at 79 Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris, Le Rendez-Vous #toyota is open from 11:00 am to 08:00 pm from Sunday to Wednesday, and from 11:00 am until 11:00

pm from Thursday to Saturday. From 1st of May, opening hours are from 10:30 am to 10:00 pm from Sunday to Wednesday, and from 10:30 am to midnight from Thursday to Saturday.
