Toyota reinforces its foundations for future growth


At an executive meeting with media on the eve of the Paris Motor Show, #toyota Motor Europe shared how it is reinforcing its foundations and preparing for future growth.

First, Quality, durability and reliability have always been part of Toyota’s DNA, and will remain their firm commitment to their customers.

Second, for more than 20 years #toyota has developed, improved and democratised their self-charging hybrid technology. With more than 2 million hybrid vehicles sold in Europe to date, Hybrid technology is, and will remain Toyota’s key differentiating technology.

In the first 8 months of the year, Hybrid models represented 46% of total #toyota sales in Europe – and 59% in Western Europe. This is more than any other region in the world.

Toyota is only exhibiting hybrid vehicles in Paris – from the compact Yaris, to the new Generations of Corolla and RAV4 and the all-new Camry Hybrid that will be introduced into Europe next year.

Third, together with Hybrid technology, Toyota’s New Global Architecture (TNGA) forms the solid basis of Toyota’s new product and powertrain offer. More than a platform, TNGA is an engineering and design philosophy that delivers more emotional design and excellent driving dynamics.
