As the ATP Tour’s Platinum Partner since 2016, #Peugeot will be present at the Master 500 in Hamburg as a Partner and Official Car of the tournament, to be held from July 22 to 28. Four #Peugeot ambassadors will be wearing the brand's colours during the tournament: #alexanderzverev, #pablocarrenobusta, #leonardomayer and #robinhaase.
Two of the brand’s models will be on display: the new #Peugeot 208 and the new #Peugeot #508swhybrid.
This historic German tournament will be held from the 22nd to 28th July. Formerly called the German Open, it has been going since 1892, and this year will see #alexanderzverev play for the 5th time.
The number 5 in the world is tackling the challenge on the courts of his hometown.
Alongside him, #pablocarrenobusta (No. 50), #leonardomayer (No. 59) and #robinhaase (No. 76) will face the world's other top players on the clay courts at the historic Rothenbaum Stadium in Hamburg, Germany.
These four prestigious players, of German, Spanish, Argentinean or Dutch nationality, are part of the ambassador team that the #Peugeot brand formed in 2017 to extend the international deployment of its sponsorship strategy in the #tennis world.
As the Partner and Official Car of the tournament, #Peugeot will be providing players and VIPs in Hamburg with a fleet of 12 vehicles including the new #Peugeot 508 sedan and SW, SUV #Peugeot 3008 and 5008, and the #Peugeot Traveller.
The brand is also displaying the new #Peugeot 208 in Hamburg, in its combustion version and in its launch colour Faro Yellow. #Peugeot has been enduring the transformations of the automotive world since 1810. Because the energy transition is a real opportunity, the new #Peugeot 208 will be available as soon as it is launched in electric, petrol or diesel versions. Perfectly in line with the #Peugeot brand's move upmarket, this new generation of #Peugeot 208 stands out thanks to its sharp design, injecting both youth and energy. Innovative through its distinctive style, the new #Peugeot 208 is also innovating with a new generation of the #Peugeot i-Cockpit© with 3D head-up combination and a range of driving aids from the upper segments.
The new #Peugeot 508 SW HYBRID will also be featured at the German tournament.
The new #Peugeot 508 SW challenges the codes of the disputed D-segment station wagon market and draws its inspiration from the world of shooting brakes.
With its low and dynamic silhouette, the new #Peugeot 508 SW displays a striking design: it combines athletic elegance and practicality in terms of spaciousness, volume and boot accessibility.
The new #Peugeot #508swhybrid combines the 180hp/132kW PureTech engine with a 110hp/80kW electric motor for a maximum combined power of 225hp/165kW, in traction.
It is equipped with a sophisticated engine to offer ever more sensations. It has optimised its operating costs thanks to the highest level of efficiency with CO2 emissions standing at less than 49g of CO2 per WLTP(1) kilometre.
The traction chain was installed without compromise. The spaciousness of the #Peugeot 508 SW is maintained at the same level and the boot volume is identical to the combustion version, i.e. 530L.
This new engine, which will be launched in early 2020, is concrete proof of PEUGEOT's vision of unconstrained, exciting and ever more efficient mobility.
