Fantic world premieres presented at EICMA 2021: the new XEF 450 RALLY and the 100% Italian E-scooter concept


Fantic Motor participate in EICMA 2021, with many news updates on the Caballero, Offroad, E-bike and E- Mobility ranges

Two absolute novelties unveiled by Fantic at EICMA 2021 make their world premiere during the press conference on Tuesday 23rd November at 2.40 pm.

There are also many news releases on the rest of the product lines present at the #show. From Off-Road and #racing motorcycles to the Caballero range, passing through E-Bikes to solutions dedicated to urban mobility with E-Mobility products.

A lot of curiosity and passion also for the official team bikes that have dominated off-road competitions: the Fantic XX125, World Champion in Junior Motocross 125 with Hakon Osterhagen; the Fantic XX250 2T, winner of the European Motocross Championship EMX250 with Nicholas Lapucci and the Fantic XE 125 Enduro Youth World Champion with Albin Norrbin. Teams and riders guest at the stand during EICMA 2021.

FANTIC #scooter; 100% ITALIAN - The first unique release is a preview that concerns the sustainable mobility segment; the first Fantic electric #scooter concept. A 100% Italian vehicle, designed and built in Veneto and Emilia, equipped with E-Power motor and inverter, from a company born from the collaboration between Dellorto and Energica.

The electric motor with 3 kW of power output can be mapped in three configurations. In addition to the concept at the trade fair, L1 and L3 versions (equivalent to 50cc and 125cc) are also planned. It will be equipped with a 2200Wh lithium battery and can be installed with a second battery thus obtaining a capacity of 4400 Wh, guaranteeing a range of more than 100Km. The vehicle will be produced entirely in Italy and assembled at the Motori Minarelli plants in Bologna. Particular attention has been given to eco-sustainability with the production processes choosing construction techniques with low environmental impact. The "power unit" is mounted on a Fantic chassis with a trellis frame constructed from die-cast aluminum, with great lightness and drivability. Safety and stability guaranteed thanks to the 16-inch wheels and 90/80 tires at the front and 100/80 at the rear. Completing the features: 220mm (front) and 180mm (rear) disc brakes with integral braking and 100mm front and 85mm suspension offering the feeling of comfort over cobblestone roads and urban obstacles.

Urban mobility continues its evolutionary path exponentially and #fantic offers the market an E-Scooter in step with the times. Manageable via smartphone, with a dedicated App, it can be customized with different accessories: high windshield, leg protectors, leg cover, rear top case and side bags.

The goal of these projects is to launch on the market a competitive product from all points of view; a competitive price and a reduced ownership cost, thanks to low maintenance (first check of the vehicle at 10,000 km), (to a 50% of the insurance cost and the exemption of the stamp duty for the first 5 years in Italy) and above all a cost of about 1 euro per 100 km traveled.

"UNVEILING" FOR THE #fantic XEF 450 #rally – Another unique release, unveiled in preview at EICMA 2021, is the Fantic XEF 450 Rally. A motorcycle that enriches Fantic's #racing offering by opening up new horizons, challenges and adventures in the great raids. #fantic XEF 450 #rally will debut in the upcoming Dakar 2022, entrusted to the experience of a legend that is Franco Picco. The experienced Italian rider, collaborated with the #fantic test team, providing useful guidance for the development of the new model, a bike that will also allow #rally raid enthusiasts to be able to personally savor the authentic and unique "Factory Feeling" of the Fantic Racing soul.

The development of the chassis and the engine, comes from the Enduro sister the #fantic XEF 450 4T, which provides the heart and skeleton, whilst the muscles are completely new. The superstructures and the large 30- litre tank are designed for a perfect combination of ergonomic balance and maximum independence, obviously essential to face raids.

Of course, there is also the necessary equipment for navigation: instrument tower and plexiglass fairing for excellent protection from wind and dust.

Even the chassis receives specific valuable upgrades for off-road riding at higher speed typical of large desert rallies. The Kayaba suspension is specially calibrated, the front brake increased to 300mm in diameter and the tyres chosen are specific.

The new arrival will be available from the end of summer 2022 at an extremely competitive price; also offered will be a Factory kit of numerous special parts to further increase the competitiveness of the XEF 450 #rally.

FANTIC #racing RANGE - The #fantic #racing family has grown further thanks to the 4-stroke engines, both in Motocross and Enduro, alongside the 2T originals of the NewRacingEra, announced at EICMA 2018. The new #fantic #racing Model Year 2022 range is thus available to all riders, to experience the emotion of the "Factory Feeling" with high-performance and reliable motorcycles. Four MX models have already been previewed to the press: Fantic XX 125 2T, #fantic XX 250 2T, #fantic XXF 250 4T and #fantic XXF 450 4T. & three Enduro models: #fantic XE 125 2T; #fantic XEF 250 4T; #fantic XEF 450 4T.

CABALLERO: A great debut for the two-tone Caballero 500 EXPLORER and the RALLY 125 version. The Caballero MY22 range debuts two new versions: the Caballero 500 Explorer, conceived and designed for light adventure touring and the Caballero #rally 125 which inherits the spirit of its older sister, the 500.

The Caballero 500 Explorer, super equipped, shares with the #rally version the single-cylinder 450 4T Euro 5 motor, with electric start and 6-speed gearbox, but is enriched with a refined two-tone white-bronze colour and various accessories designed to better face exploratory tourism. Standard fitment includes: a rear luggage rack and a side bag with mounting frame, in addition to a practical storage bag on the tank.

In addition to these accessories designed to offer light load capacity, is technical equipment designed to better face off-road demands: from the suspension, 43mm forks with adjustable compression / preload and an adjustable rear mono shock, Michelin Anakee Wild tyres with off road tread pattern, and a complete set of protection for engine, radiator and headlight. For the Explorer 500 there are also, as standard, new tubular side bars to safeguard all the mechanics.

The newborn Caballero #rally 125 is an ideal companion for the first outings on tarmac and dirt roads thanks to the knobbly tyres and high front mudguard, handlebars with crossbar and the various off-road accessories. The small displacement #rally will be available in the sand tank and matt black plastics colourway.

Also look out for the new eye-catching colors for the Caballero Scrambler: "Dark" for the 125 and "Yellow" for the 500.

Also on display are all the accessories designed for the entire Caballero range: from interchangeable tank covers available in 9 colors, to best sellers such as competition exhausts by Arrow, side bags, tank bags and many others customisations for your Caballero.

FANTIC OFFROAD ENDURO AND MOTARD – Passion and skills developed in the #racing world are also reflected in the #fantic Offroad Enduro Trail and Motard range exhibited at EICMA. A very rich range starting from 50cc, with XE 50 and XM 50 two-stroke up to 4T with the XEF 125 and XMF 125; all Euro5 motorcycles and available in Competition & Performance specification, with the latter being enriched with a full Led headlamp for the MY22. The #fantic Off Road offering is completed by the XEF 250 Trail ideal for relaxed riding over Enduro trails.

FANTIC E-BIKE – Not just motorcycles, but at EICMA 2021, the entire E-Bike range will also be exhibited in Hall 15- Stand G46. A business department within #fantic that in a few years has been able to carve out an important role as a player in this market, thanks to technologically advanced solutions, combined with detailed research and development. On display is a range that is enriched with new colors and that brings with it unique models in the market such, as the XEF 1.9, able to have such a high travel while maintaining the characteristics of Enduro and the lightest in its segment the, XTF 1.5 Carbon Factory.

FANTIC E-MOBILITY – In the wake of Fantic's growing success in the E-Mobility segment, the news continues for ISSIMO. Here is the new ISSIMO 45. A vehicle that has revolutionized the standards of electric mobility with new solutions, wheels with increased section and low center of gravity, which has become an icon, synonymous with safety and stability. ISSIMO designed to move nimbly between the pitfalls of the city, increases its potential with the 45 version for more thrust and autonomy. ISSIMO 45 is the super pedalec version from 45 km / h, with approved lights and license plate holder, a 250W Bafang M600 engine in urban version with storage compartment. The new model is the faithful companion of the first ISSIMO, a vehicle with an international award-winning design, available in Urban and Fun versions, both customizable with a series of accessories and colored covers.

A more than positive market debut for the kick #scooter: a new entry product for #fantic, which expands the brand’s offering in terms of micro-mobility. An electric #scooter with dual motors for a total power of 500W. The passion for innovation has allowed the development of the project, a combination of design and performance: manufactured in aluminium with magnesium handlebars and footboard, it guarantees lightness, rigidity and safety at the same time. The reliability of the battery is the other distinguishing element; 369Wh permits a range of up to 25km, as well as durability.

The TX2 offers three driving modes: first level at 6Km/h for pedestrian areas, second level at 20Km/h and a maximum of 25Km/h in the third level. The platform is wide and non-slip thanks to a silicone cover.
The convenient and colourful TFT display, allows you to manage the speed, battery level, pace, type of traction, lights and, last but not least, recording of fingerprints to prevent misuse of the vehicle.
