Registration for ECOdolomitesGT 2022 is open until 12 November

On the Dolomites, the last stage, the International #fiaecorallycup 2022 closes: The world's highest expression of "green racing" for “road legal” electric cars.

The race is the only Italian date of the International #fiaecorallycup 2022

Primiero San Martino di Castrozza, #trento, November 7th, 2022 – The ECOdolomitesGT  2022, a regularity and consumption road e-rally reserved for "road-legal" electric cars, valid for the International FIA ecoRally Cup 2022, takes place on the 17th, 18th and 19th of November 2022.

The international championship, in total 7 competitions that took place in 2022, so far, in Spain, Czech Republic, Portugal, Sweden, again in Spain and, from October 26th to 29th, in Monte-Carlo (MC), arrives again in Italy, on the Dolomites, for a spectacular conclusion.

The route, with "headquarters" in the heart of the Consortium of San Martino di Castrozza, Primiero and Vanoi, will embrace Trentino, Veneto and Alto-Adige, with departure and return to Primiero San Martino di Castrozza (TN), where the "charge-park" is installed. Expected passage from some of the most beautiful places in the Dolomites, including, in “non-linear” order, Primiero San Martino di Castrozza (TN), Mezzano di Primiero (TN), Imer (TN), Canal San Bovo (TN), Passo Rolle (TN), Passo Gobbera (TN), Pedavena (BL), Sagron Mis (TN), Mis (BL), Passo di Croce d'Aune (BL), Predazzo (TN), Moena (TN), Canazei (TN) Passo Sella (TN / BZ),  Ortisei (BZ), Selva di Valgardena (BZ), Corvara (BZ), Falcade (BL), Agordo (BL), Passo Cereda (TN/BL), Passo Valles (TN/BL), Passo Campolongo (BZ/BL).

Cars approved for normal road traffic can take part in the competitions. Registration is open until 23:59 on Saturday, November 12th.  Info: www.ECOdolomitesGT.org - info@generalbioconcept.net .

"Participation - explains #mariomontanuccipignatelli, coordinator of the RaceBioConcept Team & BioDrive Academy, co-organizer - is within everyone's reach: drivers who love regularity but also owners of electric cars eager to test themselves together with their car. Each crew must consist of two #people in possession of a driving license and a certificate suitable for non-competitive sporting activity, as well as an adequate FIA (or equivalent) regularity license (which can be requested in any National Sporting Authorities’ Delegations).

The latter document can be requested – following obtaining the medical certificate for non-competitive sports activities) – also on site, communicating it at the time of registration, thanks to a service made available by the Organization (through ACI-Sport).

The numbers
In the three days of the event it is now expected that the cars in the race will be called to travel a total of just over 415 kilometres, just over 100 on the first day, about 215 on the second and about 100 on the third, with a maximum of about 215 kilometres between one charge and another of electric cars. There will be up to  10 special stages for a total (in definition) of over 200 kilometres, during which the drivers will have to try their hand at maintaining the average specifications imposed by the regulations, detected by numerous "virtual" secret controls, made possible by specific dedicated control technologies.

Electric car charging
All electric cars, admitted up to a maximum number of 20 crews, will be loaded in the same "charge-park", designed to supply the cars in the "race" with electricity from renewable sources, produced directly by the local hydroelectric production.

Awards
As has been the case since 2019, competitors will be rewarded with points valid for the FIA Championship through trophies obtained from trees felled by the Vaia storm of 2018, naturally and handcrafted carved in the same aesthetic form of the Dolomites themselves: a way to pay homage to the places where the event takes place and remember a local consequence of climate change.
In addition to the prizes of "federal" relevance – i.e., dedicated to the first three placings – some further specific prizes or special awards will be awarded.

EcoRallies
The ECOdolomitesGT, promoted by RaceBioConcept TeamBioDrive Academy & ECOmove, falls into the category of Ecorally: competitions born in 2006 with the 1st EcoRally Rome – San Marino. These disciplines, in addition to experimenting in the field the performance of cars with low environmental impact, have laid, over time, the foundations for  regulating at national and international level all races with "ecological" cars, up to the famous FIA Formula-E and FIA Formula Extreme-E®® (in addition to the nascent ETCR®), together with other car competitions with LPG cars, methane, biomethane, bioethanol and biodiesel and/or driven by hybrid or exclusively electric propulsion, widely represented in Italy and in other countries by dedicated national championships of reference.

The programme
The logistical hub of the event will be the EDGT Charge-Park, Primiero San Martino di Castrozza, Via Fiume (Piazza del Municipio).
Here the administrative and technical checks will take place on Thursday November  17th from 8:30 am to 12:30 am and from here the first car will start, at 5:00 pm.
The finish line is scheduled for Saturday, November 19 starting at 11:45 (first car), in the center of the hamlet of Fiera di Primiero, near the EDGT Charge-Park.
Publication of the Final Ranking on-line @ www.ECOdolomitesGT.org Saturday, November 19 at 19:30. Following, at 2 1, the award ceremony at the Palazzo delle Miniere in Primiero San Martino di Castrozza.
