Mercedes-Benz posts strongest sales month in September and best quarter in the company’s history

- With 162,746 units in September, Mercedes-Benz has sold more vehicles than in any previous month (+13.8%);

- Third quarter is the strongest quarter in the company’s history to date with 11.9% growth 12.5% increase to 1,195,156 vehicles since beginning of year;

- New compact vehicles and S-Class as growth drivers;

- New C-Class estate, S-Class coupe and CLS successfully launched in the market;

- Ola Källenius: “With the new S 500 PLUG-IN HYBRID, available since the end of September,
we are offering our customers an ultra-modern hybrid drive concept with the innovations and
superior features of the S-Class.”...
