Toyota Motor Corporation Grants Funding For Two European Environmental Projects In UK And Hungary
- Toyota Motor Corporation named 21 projects today that will receive grants under the Toyota Environmental Activities Grant Program between April 1 this year and March 31, 2015;
- 10 projects were granted outside Japan based on their sustainability, expansiveness and harmony with regional characteristics;
- 2 European projects are part of the granted projects : The Royal Botanic Gardens Kew‘s Millennium Seed Bank Partnership in UK/Brazil and the WWF‘s Creative wetland restoration and adapting to climate change project in Hungary.
Toyota Motor Corporation has granted two European projects in the UK and Hungary as part of its annual Toyota Environmental Activities Grant Program. The first one is developed by the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew for their Millennium Seed Bank Partnership to collect, dry and store high quality seeds collections of plants at risk of extinction. The second one is the initiative developed by the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) in Hungary to work on a community based wetland conservation project to contribute to the biodiversity conservation and to reduce climate change vulnerability...
