LikeBikeTM Monte Carlo: the most exceptional bike show yet!

3rd to 5th April, 2015, the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco will host a unique new exhibition in Europe, LikeBike, exclusively devoted to high-end bikes. This unprecedented event is positioned as a showcase of today’s most outstanding products in the international arena, combining design, innovation, technology, fashion and luxury. High-tech bicycles, electric bikes, mountain bikes and accessories will be presented to aiming satisfy the most demanding sportsmen, responding to a fully developed lifestyle, combining concerns for the environment, in addition to the well-being and satisfaction of bike-lovers. LikeBike Monte Carlo will give you the urge to ride! The creation of this show by Wladimir Singer and Mark Hillsdon, cycling enthusiasts, had a two- fold motivation. A booming bicycle industry. The growth and interest in the bicycle industry has been spectacular. The Global industry is expected to exceed $65 billion by 2019 driven by social, health, wellness and economic factors. An ultra-location. Monaco is recognized worldwide as the “capital of luxury”. Particularly attractive due to its location and climate (conducive to outdoor sports), cosmopolitan character and emphasis on sustainable development and environmental protection. These characteristics create the perfect environment for LikeBike Monte Carlo enhanced also by the presence of numerous professional cyclists living in Monaco. Highlights of LikeBike Monte Carlo This show is more than an upscale global market bike trade show; it is the promotion of a healthier lifestyle being adopted by a growing number of people and a great celebration of cycling. Passing through the doors of the Grimaldi Forum, you will find yourself enveloped in a rustic atmosphere. Visitors will be able to touch, test and admire a full range of bikesduring the three-day show. Spectacular events will be ongoing on the stunning esplanade of the Grimaldi Forum just meters away from the Mediterranean sea, including acrobatic bike demonstrations. The show will also host the winners of the most important international bike design competition and other bicycle artisans showing and explaining the manufacture and customisation of bicycles. To further add to the excitement before the show (and in association with the Fédération Monégasque de Cyclisme) a Criterium team relay, the LikeBike NiteRaceTM challenge is being planned for Sunday, March 29th2015 - on Monaco’s famous Grand Prix “chicane du Port” with a mix of pro’s and amateur riders fighting it out. As a highlight to the show and a creative way to bring like-minded cycling enthusiast together, a spectacular Gala evening will be held with a focus on celebrating all things “Bike” whilst at the same time raising money for a well deserving charity - Monaco Aide et Présence (MAP). With the support of manufacturers, bicycles will be distributed among local schools and clubs to be decorated, then displayed at the Exhibition and later auctioned off at the Gala with proceeds going to MAP.
