Feeding the Planet with waste: the CIC at Expo 2015 presents data on the market of compost in Italy
On the day of the presentation of the Carta di Milano Expo in 2015, it lights on the organic waste recycling into compost, a natural fertilizer that in addition to returning organic matter into the land, it plays an important role in reducing emissions.
The Cic(Italian Composting Association) illustrate the environmental benefits of this practice on June 5, the World Environment Day, and inaugurate its calendar of events at the Universal Exhibition.
It was presented this morning at the Carta di Expo Milano, the document that committed citizens, businesses and institutions to take specific responsibility for fighting against malnutrition and wasting.
Along with the issue of waste there is also the issue of recovery of any food scraps. Through a good collection and a suitable treatment of the damp you will obtain compost, a natural fertilizer that, in addition to returning the organic substance rich in nutrients to the earth, plays a fundamental role in limiting emissions.
The CIC, Italian Composting Association, chooses June 5, World Environment Day, to inaugurate its calendar of events at the World's Fair, in the frame of the Global Farm 2.0, the Pavilion of the World Association of agronomists.
