New accessories and Collection the Frankfurt IAA 2019: Lifestyle, design and technical finesse

Stuttgart. Intelligent, beautiful and functional solutions for all areas of life - genuine accessories and the Collection by #MercedesBenz. The product range extends from exclusive vehicle individualisation options and sports or outdoor items, to fashionable accessories such as watches and jewellery. Items presented at the 2019 IAA in Frankfurt in front of the Festhalle by #MercedesBenz include innovative wireless headphones, an E-Scooter from the EQ brand family, new model cars and sporty attachment parts for the CLA.
Bluetooth over-ear headphones
An exclusive sound experience is assured with the new #MercedesBenz over-ear headphones using Bluetooth technology. A 3D sound effect and Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling ensure particularly rewarding musical enjoyment completely untroubled by outside noises. However, the “transparent” mode makes it possible to allow specific outside noises such as cockpit announcements in an aircraft to reach the ears without having to take off the headphones. The #MercedesBenz headphones can also be used for telephoning, thanks to the integrated microphone. All these functions can be controlled by intuitive swiping and tapping on the touchpad on the right earpiece.
The over-ear headphones are exquisitely designed for maximum user comfort. Soft artificial leather padding with decorative seams on the head band and earpieces ensures the best possible fit even over longer periods. Externally the headphones impress with their shining piano-lacquer finish, matt highlights in grained silicone and plastic, and earpiece surrounds in a chrome look. The Mercedes star is positioned at the lower end of the head band. Thanks to highly effective Bluetooth 5.0 technology, the headphones connect wirelessly to any compatible audio source, and it is also possible to connect using a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Fully charged via USB, the battery lasts for up to 18 hours. The headphones come in a matching transport bag which includes a jack plug and a USB cable.
Mercedes-Benz E-Scooter
E-scooters have only been allowed on German roads since June, and it is already hard to conceive of a traffic scene without them. These agile, electrically powered scooters are the perfect way to cover short distances quickly and without harming the environment. The new E-Scooter in the #MercedesBenz EQ brand family was developed in cooperation with the scooter specialist micro, and is specifically designed for the first or last mile, making it the perfect companion for those wanting flexible mobility solutions. Co-branded with micro, the Mercedes star and the EQ logo appear on the handlebar stem as a trademark for Electric Intelligence.

Model cars
Miniatures of iconic vehicle models have always been popular collectors' items. And now the EQC, the first fully electric vehicle from #MercedesBenz, is available as a 1:18-scale model car just a few months after its market launch. The EQC 400 4MATIC with AMG Line Exterior, glass sliding sunroof and/or 21-inch AMG
10-spoke light-alloy wheels has been reproduced in exquisite detail according to the original CAD data in the colours designo diamond white bright and brilliant blue. This hand-assembled precision model impresses with its authentic reproduction of all interior details, including a luxurious interior and flocked interior and boot floor. All the model car's doors and the tailgate can be opened. The miniature EQC N293 is made from over 120 diecast zinc and plastic parts, and has a length of approx. 26.6 cm. It is delivered in #MercedesBenz Classic packaging which includes a screwdriver for problem-free removal and a glove for fingerprint protection. There will also be a special version in graphite grey with the unusual feature that the headlamps and rear lights can be switched on.
Accessories for the CLA
The #MercedesBenz CLA is known for its self-assured and progressive dynamism. At the IAA show the brand will also present a number of new mounted accessories that further underline the sportiness and lend an individual touch to the already expressive #design.
The high-quality carbon-fibre style with a 3D look provides eye-catching and dynamic highlights. There is a choice of a front apron spoiler lip, a subtle rear spoiler that accentuates the spoiler lip, and matching exterior mirror covers. The spoilers are easily and securely installed using special adhesive tape, and no entry in the vehicle documents is necessary.
A rear spoiler variant paintable in the vehicle colour provides an alternative to the carbon-fibre style. This markedly improves the vehicle's aerodynamics, and perfectly matches the contours. The choice of precisely matching paint finishes creates a new, self-assured package that exudes high quality. Here too, installation is by means of double-sided adhesive tape, and the spoiler does not need to be entered in the vehicle documents.
The high-grade door handle recesses in a chrome #design are an exclusive further embellishment. Thanks to their strong, precisely fitting material, they not only protect the paintwork from scratches but also give the doors an individual look. At the rear, the chrome #design is rounded off by a corresponding rear trim strip.
