Top Gear and Autobild Spain honored 120 years of Fiat

FCA Spain received the award for the 120 years of #fiat history in the category "Special Prize Path of a Brand"

The 2019 edition of the Spanish “Axel Springer Motor Awards” was marked by the award given to #fiat in the special prizes category. During the ceremony, that took place in #madrid, #fca Spain received the award “Premio Especial Trayectoria de una marca“ (Special prize Path of a Brand) for the 120 years of #fiat history, a milestone that very few car manufacturers can claim.

The award recognizes the innovative path of the brand in creating unique models; and it is aimed to highlight the history of the Company that democratized the use of the car all over the world. Besides having 120 years of history worldwide, #fiat also celebrates 100 years of life in Spain.

Fiat story begun on July 11, 1899 in Turin, where it started manufacturing his first car, the #fiat 3½ HP, a reliable and democratic vehicle. Today, after 120 years of history, #fiat continues to be a pioneer in offering affordable solutions for the mobility needs of the present and the future. The last proof was the #fiat Concept Centoventi, “the democratic answer to electric mobility”, presented at the Geneva International Motor Show on March. 

The judges were readers and editors of #automotive magazines like #auto Bild, TopGear and Motor.es. Every year the readers choose the best cars of the year, instead the editors select the winners of the special prizes.
