Unveiled on 12 May, New Citroën ë-Jumpy -100% ëlectric marks a new stage in Citroën’s product offensive in 2020, to make the electric vehicle accessible to all. This compact van is the 3rd electrified commercial vehicle and the 6th electric model launched by the Brand in 2020. The film, released in 47-second version on social networks from 15 September, will be on TV from October 2020.
IN 2020, “CITROËN GOES ËLECTRIC FOR ALL”
After having revealed its worldwide campaign for the launch of New Citroën ë-C4 - 100% ëlectric last week, Citroën is pressing on with its aim of offering a range of electrified vehicles for all and for all types of uses. In 2020, ‘Citroën goes ëlectric for all ‘ with the launch of 6 electrified vehicles: Ami – 100% ëlectric, ë-C4 – 100% ëlectric, C5 Aircross Hybrid SUV, ë-SpaceTourer – 100% ëlectric, ë-Jumpy – 100% ëlectric, ë-Jumper – 100% ëlectric.
The 100% electric version of Jumpy provides professionals with concrete solutions to the new challenges for mobility in urban locations, but also in rural areas thanks to a range that is sufficient for most journeys. New ë-Jumpy fits into Citroën’s Inspired by Pro strategy, which conceives tailor-made solutions to meet the requirements of professional customers.
THE CAMPAIGN: A TRIBUTE TO THOSE WHO GET UP EARLY
In this #film, Citroën revisits its glorious past at the side of professionals. C4 Van (launched in 1931), Type H (1948), C25 (1981): these legendary models which have supported French trade over the past 100 years come together in an ensemble #film. The eras, the fashions and the vehicles change but the morning routine seems timeless. Firstly, getting ready on tiptoes, then breakfast and setting off to work in the commercial vehicle. Up until now, this last point could be a little annoying for those living with professionals: starting the vehicle could sometimes wake the still-sleeping household. New Citroën ë-Jumpy – 100% ëlectric breaks this cycle. It has all of the benefits and capabilities of the internal combustion engine versions of Citroën Jumpy, whilst also adding silence.
For the production of this #film between historical epic and a close-up on daily life, Citroën along with its agency Traction (BETC group) called upon Joachim Back (Control Films production), who received an Oscar in 2010 for his short film The New Tenants.
JUMPY: BENCHMARK FOR COMPACT VANS
Citroën Jumpy, launched in 2016 and with almost 145,000 units sold, has recently seen its range updated in order to more closely meet the requirements of professional customers. Combining strength and a large loading capacity, Citroën Jumpy offers a calibrated range, available in 5 versions including 3 recent ones (Worker, Driver and CityVan) which specifically target 3 types of use: construction sites (with raised suspension, protective plate, increased payload, Grip Control), long trips (with driving aids dedicated to comfort and safety), or in town (with greater agility and ease of use). So many versions, which have already made Citroën Jumpy the essential partner for a professional customer base with diverse needs.
CITROËN Ë-JUMPY – 100% ËLECTRIC: NOW SILENT, AND STILL AS PRACTICAL
Without compromising on the levels of performance which have made Jumpy a success, New ë-Jumpy has added a new dimension to comfort and provides additional peace of mind for all business owners:
