LEVC expands European network with appointment of Autohaus Geisser, Karlsruhe

Ansty, 25th September 2020: #levc (London Electric Vehicle Company) continues its European expansion with the appointment of another new dealer, Autohaus Geisser GmbH, located in #karlsruhe, Germany. This follows the establishment of the company’s central European sales office in Frankfurt last year and marks another significant milestone in LEVC’s expansion of its European sales network.
Joerg Hofmann, #levc CEO, commented: “We are very pleased to add Autohaus Geisser GmbH to our growing network of dealers in Germany and to introduce the #levc brand to customers across the southern Baden region who are keen to make the shift to greener mobility operations. There is increasing demand for #txshuttle in German cities and a clear sales opportunity for our new electric #van, #vn5, and we are actively seeking new dealers across Germany to support this growth.”
Autohaus Geisser GmbH, #karlsruhe is the first #levc dealer in the metropolitan region of #karlsruhe, Mannheim and the only authorised dealer in southern Baden, providing sales and aftersales support to customers in the surrounding areas. With many local businesses planning to implement ‘shuttle on demand’ services, #levc is a key partner, helping to drive #green mobility growth in the region. Autohaus Geisser GmbH also currently services five TX’s already in operation in the region.

The #txshuttle and #tx taxi models offer space, comfort and practicality, combined with environmental friendliness and a small turning circle, a trademark of the iconic London ‘black cab’ – ideal credentials for city transportation. With seating for six passengers and wheelchair accessibility, all travellers enjoy standard features such as air conditioning, charging facilities for smartphones and laptops and the TX’s generous panoramic roof. A purpose-built partition screen separates the driver and passenger compartments and, with contactless payment in the rear, easy to clean surfaces and an intercom system that allows driver and passenger to always communicate clearly, travellers are kept as safe and protected as possible.
Both models are powered by LEVC’s innovative eCity technology, allowing 93km of zero emissions driving and a total electrically driven range of over 484 km. Drivers can save more than €100 a week on fuel costs and more than 36,000 tonnes of CO2 have been saved from entering the atmosphere since its launch in early 2018.
Individuals and companies looking to purchase the #tx can take advantage of a €3,750 environmental grant, due to the #tx being included in the funding list of the Federal office for Economics and Export Control (BAFA).
From next Spring, LEVC’s new electric #van, #vn5, will be launched in Europe. Operating in the one-tonne sector, #vn5 shares the same bold, distinctive design and lightweight aluminium construction as #tx, as well as its innovative eCity electric technology. This gives a zero emissions capable range of 61 miles (98km)2 and a total range of over 300 miles (484 km)2 and, with up to 5.5m3 capacity, #vn5 cargo capacity easily accommodates two Euro sized pallets with a gross payload of 830kg.
The launch of #vn5 will significantly widen the appeal in the commercial vehicle sector and LEVC’s export strategy is on track to support this major growth with plans to operate in 21 European countries by the end of 2021.
