Tom Dillmann joins Jaguar Racing as reserve driver

- The formidable Jaguar Racing driver line-up of Sam Bird and Mitch Evans will be supported by Tom Dillmann and Sacha Fenestraz for season seven
- The next ABB FIA Formula E race takes place in Puebla, Mexico on Saturday 19 June at 16:00 (CDT) with the second race on Sunday 20 June at 16:00 (CDT)
Whitley, United Kingdom, 27 May 2021 – Jaguar Racing has today revealed French racing driver Tom Dillmann as reserve driver for the British racing team during season seven of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
Dillmann, 32, joins the Jaguar Racing reserve driver line-up alongside Sacha Fenestraz and will be assisting the team at selected races across the season while spending valuable time in Jaguar Racing's simulator in Grove, Oxfordshire.
The Frenchman has been racing since the early 2000s with close to 300 races now under his belt and career highlights including being crowned champion of the 2016 Formula V8 3.5 series and 2010 German Formula 3. Dillmann is no stranger to Formula E having competed in 23 E-Prix since 2017 with the Venturi and NIO Formula E teams.
Tom Dillmann, Jaguar Racing reserve driver, said: "It is great to stay in the Formula E paddock and I'm excited to be working with Jaguar Racing. The season started extremely well and I'm looking forward to continue working with the whole team and hope to contribute to more success."
James Barclay, Team Director Jaguar Racing, said: "It is fantastic to welcome Tom to the team – he is a driver we have known for a while now. His experience in multiple series and within Formula E will be incredibly useful as he helps us finesse and develop the Jaguar I-TYPE 5 in the simulator. Tom's Formula E race knowledge could potentially prove invaluable if called upon at short notice."
The double header race weekend in Puebla, Mexico starts on Saturday 19 June at 16:00 (CDT) with the second race 24 hours later on Sunday 20 June at 16:00 (CDT).
